Services and history
Wet Bisous makes unique bags for individuals. The brand was born from my days of learning dog training and ultimately learning more about people.
Zoe and I learning dog and human together!
I saw a unique set of bags worn by a trainer friend Tori that just flipped a switch in me! So being a DIYer I created my own style of bags that would sit at my sides with backpack style straps. I'd always worn cross body bags so I wouldn't set them down and lose them. I hated holding a bag in my hand or on my arm as well... I needed hands free. I also loved the idea of a backpack, but hated the inconvenience of having to take it off to get inside.... I started getting lots of inquiries about my bag, so I began designing and creating unique, handcrafted double shoulder bags for sale.
Tori's Piper Dbl Shoulder Bags 2022
Tori was a tester for me. My designs won her over and she's been a client ever since 2015! It was mostly for dog trainers like Tori in the beginning as they were 'my people'. Since then, although I don't train dogs now, I still love my dog people! Wet Bisous has stayed small, but we've diversified into a couple directions...
Our primary focus is continued to be customized and personally curated handcrafted bags of all kinds (hip bags, dbl shoulder bags, packs and slings, bowler bags, purses, wallets and more).
And a few years back we added specialty dog leashes & collars (our own designs as well as co-designed with clients) in several materials including quality nylon, polyester and biothane.

The hubs has joined the ranks part time, and with his honed artistic skills and education, he's a huge asset. He is in charge of our embroidery and can do everything from designing creative logos for your business to memorializing you beloved pet in an embroidered portrait.
Quality, not quantity
More on what we do...
Most of the bag styles have been developed and designed by us (all of the double shoulder, hip holster style bags and more), but we also make a variety of other bag styles from designer patterns to suit our expanding customers needs and tastes.
Many of our bags are one of a kind, just like our awesome clients!
1. Making a special bag for a client that suits their needs well is really important to me. I'm always improving construction and adding to my line as well as the bags I make from other designers/artists. I think equally important is that each custom bag embodies each clients unique style, the combination that makes up who they are so the bag projects what they want show the world and what matters to them. I get a ton of joy from this, but also really love curating bags on the website with unique combinations that are appealing and eye-catching.
Even our dog training bags and bike gear are one of a kind or limited release.
2. We make dog quality collars, treat pouches, leashes and e-collar accessories too. We make them ourselves, so WE are the quality control. We specialize in premium safety leashes (you can purchase those thru a link on our site or direct from our client's website), as well as our own style of leash with a removable backup.
We offer a line of leashes, collars and leash backups we began developing over a decade ago when I had a very reactive dog.
3. Our design work has grown and now includes embroidery and logo design. Creative logo creation as well as branding, as well gear development for the needs of our business clients and beyond to their customers. We also co-design and make specialty leashes for distribution, including the well known leash line 'The Ultimate Leash' by TGD.
We are expanding our embroidery and design work all the time.
4. We began doing logo embroidery, line art designs and then progressed to pet portraits. The pet portraits are one of our favorites. We just love honoring best friends and companions.... We've worked hard to gear up to offer items for small businesses like T-Shirts, Ball Caps and more! Some of the big embroidery houses won't do small batch embroidery... but we will. (pronounced BEE-ZOO - French slang for little kisses!). The name represents the kind of kiss a rescued pet might offer upon being adopted into a better life.
